DESERT RIVER DUBAI

Desert River is a young and dynamic Dubai based company specialising in the distribution of European lifestyle brands and event rentals.

Set-up in January 2004 by Claudia van der Werf and Michiel Schröeder, each with extensive experience with various international five-star hotel chains. The company has since been very successful in bringing new European quality products, through retail, wholesale and rental operations to the market. Desert River has built a good name and trust in the local community and our products are frequently featured in leading designer’s magazines in the GCC.

Our contemporary products are ideal for event rentals, or to purchase for homes, offices, hotels and commercial projects. We represent a limited number of high-quality European brands that are distinctly different in their own right. We have a physical showroom in Dubai, a web shop and distribute throughout the Middle East with dealers in various countries.

Amongst others, our lifestyle brands include Fatboy and IXXI from The Netherlands, Fermob from France, ImagiLights from Belgium, Design of Love and Slide from Italy.

We are members of the ILEA (International Live Events Association), the association for event industry professionals who are passionate about knowledge, networking and event creativity.
